The Board appointed Dragaš as the Executive Director of EPCG

The Board of Directors of Elektroprivreda (EPCG) at today's regular meeting appointed Zdravko Dragaš as the company's Executive Director.

"Dragaš was selected after a public competition and a complete procedure that included the review and processing of applications by an expert committee, and interviews conducted by the Appointments Committee. Special attention during the procedure was paid to the presented plans for development and improvement of business in the next term," the statement said.

Dragaš was born in Podgorica in 1972. He is a graduate in electrical engineering, a member of the Chamber of Engineers of Montenegro and has more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector.

Dragaš began his professional career in 2000 as a project manager and executive director in several companies. He is the founder and owner of the company CEMA from Podgorica, specialized in the design, execution and supervision of construction and installation works.

In explaining the decision, the Board of Directors emphasized that Dragaš, with his professional knowledge, many years of experience in the real sector and managerial competencies, fully meets the high standards required for managing one of the most important state-owned companies.

"By taking office, the new CEO, together with his team, will work dedicatedly to achieving EPCG's strategic goals, which include the stability of the power system, the development of new energy projects and the continuous improvement of business efficiency," the statement concludes.
