"In order to hide behind the Ministry of Economic Development and state-owned companies and try to dilute responsibility, aware of the catastrophic decision he is making, Prime Minister Milojko Spajić drafted a document that was individually signed in the Government building by several state bodies and the Municipality of Budva with investors Adriatic Properties, Aidway Investment Limited and Amanresorts Management," said the Civic Movement URA.
The leader of this civic movement accused the government in his podcast yesterday of secretly signing a contract with the companies "Adriatic Properties" and "Aman", which allowed the construction of a condo hotel in Miločerski Park. Last night, the government issued a statement saying that they had not signed any document, "nor was it an 'exclusive', as the former prime minister wants to present it."
In a press release, the URA Police Headquarters assessed that this process will obviously also involve work for the Special State Prosecutor's Office (SDT) because, as they claim, Spajić, in order to escape responsibility, added companies to the document's signatories that had previously not signed either the main contract or the annex.
"Therefore, it is important that the Prime Minister answers the following questions:
- Who signed the disputed document on behalf of the Ministry of Economic Development and was it signed in Spajić's office?
- Who signed on behalf of HTP Budvanska rivijera, was the signature placed in your presence and is its board elected by the Government of Montenegro?
- Who signed on behalf of HTP Miločer, who withdrew the opinion from the Board, and who withdrew the opinion, and was the signature placed in your presence?
- Who signed the document on behalf of the Public Company for Coastal Zone Management, was the signature placed in your presence? Who resigned because of this act, and who is putting pressure on the members of this state-owned company because of it?
"- Who signed on behalf of Sveti Stefan Hoteli AD, who withdrew the opinion from the Board, and who withdrew the opinion, and was the signature placed in your presence?" they ask from GP URA.
"It is clear that Prime Minister Spajić, otherwise known for his truths, has been caught red-handed. He is trying to hide irrefutable facts from the citizens, and he will not succeed. Show the document or publicly announce that you are giving up on building apartments in Miločerski Park," the GP URA statement concluded.
