Prices of personal consumption products and services, measured by the consumer price index, were 4,2 percent higher on average in November compared to the same month last year, according to Monstat data.
Consumer prices in November were 0,4 percent lower on average compared to October.
"The biggest impact on the negative monthly inflation rate was the decline in prices in the groups of vegetables, fruit, accommodation services, bread and cereals," the statement said.
Consumer prices in the period from January to November, compared to the same period last year, were 3,9 percent higher on average.
Observed by main groups of products and services according to the purpose of consumption, in November, compared to the previous month, growth was recorded in the groups of clothing and footwear by 2,5 percent, transportation by 0,9 percent, housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels, health and recreation and culture by 0,1 percent each.
Price declines were recorded in the groups food and non-alcoholic beverages by 1,8 percent, restaurants and hotels by 1,3 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco, other goods and services, furniture, household equipment and routine home maintenance by 0,1 percent each.
Prices of other products and services did not change significantly.
