The Board of Directors of the Employment Agency (ZZZ) has made a decision to finance 149 beneficiaries of grants for self-employment, in the total amount of 1,47 million euros.
The Employment Service explained that these funds are being allocated to unemployed people who have sustainable plans to start their own business, as part of a program called Incentives for Self-Employment, for this year.
"This program represents a key opportunity for economic empowerment of the community, most of which will be directed directly to supporting beneficiaries, and the remainder to providing professional assistance in starting and running a business," the statement said.
The program, they said, was intended for unemployed people who have been registered with the Employment Service for at least four months, as well as young NEETs, between the ages of 15 and 29, from Nikšić, Bijelo Polje and Ulcinj, included in the Youth Guarantee program.
The Employment Agency reminded that each beneficiary could receive grants of four to ten thousand euros, with the obligation to establish an employment relationship in a newly established company, as a founder.
They added that users will be provided with professional support during the preparation phase and in the first ten months of operations.
