Six employees from Tivat Airport were awarded by the Turkish national airline Turkish Airlines for the excellent results they achieved while servicing the company's aircraft and traffic from Tivat Airport.
"Employees of Tivat Airport were awarded by Turkish Airlines for exceptional quality of service, high level of professionalism and dedication to work during the year. The awardees were Passenger Registration Agents: Danijela Čavor Đukanović and Igor Andrić, Supervisors Darko Fatović and Edin Hodžić, and Transport Workers Damir Lasić and Nikola Popović. In recognition of their achievements, the awarded employees received free airline tickets to any destination within the global network of Turkish Airlines," the Airport of Montenegro announced.
As highlighted during the award ceremony, Turkish Airlines carried out a total of 585 operations at Tivat Airport in 2025 without a single recorded incident, which, according to company representatives, is a result they highly appreciate.
With this recognition, as emphasized, they wanted to highlight and reward the continuous effort, responsibility, and commitment of employees in the field.
Unlike last year, when Turkish Airlines did not operate from Tivat during the IATA winter season, this winter the Turkish national carrier has three regular weekly flights on the Istanbul-Tivat route.
