During 2024 and 2025, the State Property Administration made a series of decisions by which dozens of official vehicles, from passenger cars to off-road vehicles and vessels, were transferred to various ministries and administrations.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs, pursuant to the decision of January 26, 2024, was granted a “VW Touareg 3.0 TDI”, manufactured in 2010. The vehicle was previously taken over from the Traffic Administration and valued at 12.230 euros.
By decision of March 19, 2024, the Food Safety Authority was given a BMW X3 (2005), which had previously been permanently confiscated by a High Court ruling.
In June 2024, the Ministry of European Affairs received a “Mercedes-Benz CLA 200 CDI” (2014), valued at €12.880.
Based on the Government's Conclusion, the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation was provided with vehicles previously used in the Education Inspectorate, namely three "Dacia Sandero" vehicles, manufactured in 2010, 2005 and 2006, as well as a "Skoda Octavia" (2006). The request was submitted due to the reorganization of the inspectorates and their merger with the Ministry.
The Ministry of Health received as many as eight passenger cars of different brands (Dacia, Renault, Peugeot, Fiat). All vehicles were previously used by health inspections that were integrated into the Ministry of Health.
By decision of February 2025, two “Škoda Octavias” from 2005, “Škoda Rapid” (2018), “Škoda Fabia” (2008) and MG EHS Plug-in Hybrid (2023) were transferred to the Ministry of Maritime Affairs. Two vessels “Capelli Tempest 900” (2023), as well as the vessels “NAVAR 1025” and “Sea Worker 36” (2001) were also assigned to this department.
The Ministry of Spatial Planning received a “Dacia Sandero” (2010) and a “Skoda Fabia” (2004). The vehicles were previously used by inspection bodies that were attached to the Ministry.
The Meteorological Institute took over a “Dacija Sandero (2017)” and a “VW Golf IV” (1999) from the Meteorological Inspectorate.
The Forest and Hunting Management Directorate received six off-road vehicles. These are a “Skoda Octavia” and five “Lada Niva”, which meets the field needs of this administration.
In February 2025, the Water Administration took over a “Hyundai” (2014) previously used by the Water Management Inspection.
In all cases, the decision was made in accordance with the individual Conclusions of the Government of Montenegro and under Article 20 of the Law on State Property - the property authority manages state property; under Article 29 of the Law on State Property.
