During the session of the Parliament of Montenegro committee on liability for damage in the Municipality of Pljevlja, a verbal conflict occurred between the MP of the Civic Movement URA, Dritan Abazović, and the President of the Board of Directors of Elektroprivreda, Milutin Đukanović.
Đukanović told Abazović that he was a "fool" and that he should be "ashamed", to which the leader of the GP URA told him "you will go to prison".
Abazović previously said that the prosecution would have work to do regarding the commissioning of the reconstructed Pljevlja Thermal Power Plant and that those responsible should bear criminal responsibility.
"If the Thermal Power Plant is of special importance, and it is for our electricity system, you should have proposed, when you were unable to obtain consent, a lex specialis in which you would have stated that what applies to other similar facilities does not apply to the Thermal Power Plant. Since you did not do this, you have knowingly, with intent, committed a criminal offense that involves a violation of several articles of the Criminal Code. And if the whining prosecution ever functions, you will have to answer. Prison sentences under just one provision are between one and three years," said Abazović.
He added that he would not allow the case to be forgotten.
"If you think that, because you have some agreement between you, we will allow you to mock the state and let you do whatever you want, forget it. We will not allow ourselves to be granted permits tomorrow when another energy facility is being built," said Abazović.
To this, Đukanović said briefly and insultingly:
"You are a complete fool."
Abazović warned him not to insult.
"That's the last time you said that. And last time your blood sugar went up, so I left you alone."
To this, Đukanović told him "shame on you", and Abazović replied in the same words, adding "you will go to prison".
After that, Chairman Dragan Đurović gave a short break.
