With the adoption of the budget of Montenegro for the next year, the municipality of Žabljak was allocated funds in the amount of 30 million euros, intended for the improvement of local and communal infrastructure, which represents the largest single financial support in the history of that local government.
The President of the Municipality of Žabljak, Radoš Žugić, said that this decision is the result of serious and continuous work, a clear development vision and consistent representation of the interests of Žabljak, as well as continuous and constructive cooperation between the Municipality and the Government, based on responsible planning and a common understanding of the needs of the local community.
"While promises were often made in previous years without concrete results, today's decision confirms the commitment to achieving measurable progress for citizens through work and partnership," Žugić announced.
He says that the Government has recognized the importance of Žabljak as a strategically important municipality, both in the context of sustainable development and tourism, and in terms of improving the quality of life of citizens.
"The decision to provide funds of this magnitude confirms confidence in the capacity of local government to plan, implement and responsibly manage development projects. This financial support will enable the implementation of key infrastructure projects that will contribute to the long-term development of Žabljak and the creation of better living conditions for all our citizens," said Žugić.
The Municipality of Žabljak, as he said, remains committed to a partnership with the Government, conducting responsible politics and consistently representing the interests of its citizens.
"This budget is a clear signal that Žabljak is no longer on the margins of development policies, but an equal and reliable partner in the overall development of Montenegro," concluded Žugić.
