The Ministry of Public Works announced today that a tender has been announced for the execution of works to equip the Oncology Day Hospital in Bijelo Polje.
As stated in the statement of that government department, this continues the continuous improvement of healthcare infrastructure in the north of Montenegro.
"This project will finally enable patients from the north, who do not require hospitalization, to receive therapy and medical care during the day, with constant supervision by doctors and medical staff, and to return to their homes afterwards. In this way, the citizens of Bijelo Polje and surrounding municipalities receive more accessible health services, without having to travel to Podgorica, which is especially important for seriously ill patients and their families," the statement said.
The statement added that the Ministry of Public Works and the Ministry of Health continue to invest in the modernization and balanced development of healthcare infrastructure throughout Montenegro.
"...so that quality healthcare is available to all citizens," the statement concludes.
