Four trails, two ski lifts and a beginner's lane are in operation at the Kolašin 1600 ski resort.

At the state ski resort Kolašin 1600, slopes 1, 2, 5 and 6 of the six-seater Trglava (K8), the ski lifts "Sidro" and "Tanjir" and a beginner's slope are currently in operation. Due to the unimproved land around the pillars number 4 of the K7 ski lift, the slopes that follow that part of the infrastructure are not in operation.

Today is the first skiing day of the season at that ski resort.

Bojan Medenica, executive director of the Ski Resorts of Montenegro, which includes the Kolašin 1600 Ski Center, wrote on his Facebook profile that the preparation for this season represented "many difficult moments, and no help from anywhere."

He said that the goal of the employees and his was "to show that ski resorts can and must be the axis of development of the north."

Medenica expects that the snowfall and the final start of the season will "show what the ski centers mean for Kolašin and Montenegro." In addition to skiing, he announced a rich range of activities for visitors at the Kolašin 1600 ski resort.

The private, neighboring Kolašin 1450 ski center informed us yesterday that part of the infrastructure is operational, and that competent inspections are expected today, after whose approval it will be known which slopes can still be open.

The police allow as many vehicles as there is room in the parking lot.

The police are allowing as many vehicles to enter the Kolašin ski resorts as there is space in the parking lot, because parking on the road near the ski resort is not allowed, which is often resorted to by ski center visitors.

As "Vijesti" was unofficially told by the Kolašin police, the road lanes on the section from the city to Bjelasica, which is part of the Kolašin-Berane regional road, should be passable for the machinery that maintains that road.

Due to the large number of vehicles heading towards Bjelasica, there are occasional traffic jams and congestion on the road.

According to unofficial information from "Vijesti", a certain number of buses and cars were returned by the police to the "Savardak" restaurant.
