Montenegro and Bahrain have potential for economic cooperation, especially in the fields of science, innovation and tourism, it was announced at a meeting between Prime Minister Milojko Spajić and ministers from that country.
Spajić spoke today in Davos with Minister in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Bahrain Isa Bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa and Minister of Finance and National Economy Salman Bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
"After the first Memorandum of Cooperation between Montenegro and Bahrain was signed in November 2024, during the visit of the Montenegrin Prime Minister to this country, possible forms of cooperation in the economy, science and innovation were discussed," the statement said.
Ministers in the Cabinet of the Prime Minister of Bahrain praised Spajić's leadership, highlighting the potential for cooperation between the two countries' economies.
During the meeting, the need for training and skills development in the increasingly rapid changes in the labor market was emphasized, as well as the success of the Bahraini state institution Tamkeen in this area. It was assessed that this experience and knowledge can be used through programs implemented by RESP in Montenegro.
