The Ministry of Public Works announced today that an expert team has been formed to monitor the development of the Study of Solutions for Water Supply and Wastewater Drainage of the "Velje Brdo" Residential and Business Complex.
"As part of the planning activities related to the development of the residential and business complex 'Velje brdo', Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović and Director of DOO 'Vodovod i kanalizacija' Podgorica Aleksandar Nišavić held a meeting today with the project team that will develop the Study of Hydrotechnical Solutions for Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal of the residential and business complex 'Velje brdo'. The meeting emphasized that, through joint work and with full respect for the requirements of the profession, sustainable solutions are being achieved, primarily in the area of providing quality infrastructure plans, the implementation of which is accompanied by the necessary studies and supporting documents, which confirms the commitment to implementing significant development projects while responsibly managing available resources," the statement said.
The Ministry of Public Works added that it was agreed that the ministry and "Water Supply and Sewerage" Podgorica, through a joint expert team, would participate in the development and monitoring of the Study, with the aim of defining sustainable and functional solutions for water supply and wastewater disposal, which are aligned with the capacities of the existing system, the strategic development directions of the Capital City and the long-term development needs of the area, in cooperation with the competent institutions.
"The Ministry of Public Works continues its activities on the strategic definition of infrastructure solutions for the 'Velje brdo' settlement, as one of the most significant planned development projects, with a clear focus on long-term sustainable development," the statement reads.
