Business Center Nikšić, in partnership with the Agency for Business Support and Development Cetinje and Prijestonica, has launched a pre-acceleration program intended for start-up teams that want to advance their business idea and begin the development of a sustainable start-up.
"The program is designed to provide participants with structured knowledge, mentoring support, and connections with potential investors, with the aim of turning innovative ideas into functional and market-sustainable business models," the Royal Capital announced.
The program will include 15 start-up teams from all over Montenegro, and the project represents one of the key mechanisms for strengthening the national innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem, with a special focus on the development of local start-up communities in Cetinje and Nikšić.
"By applying the scientifically based Stage Gate development model, start-up teams are enabled to develop systematically and in phases - from the initial idea to market launch, with the integration of modern technologies such as VR, AR and AI solutions," the statement states.
The program is based on a structured phased development model, which allows start-up teams to progress step by step - from idea development, through validation and market testing, to a clear definition of the business model, with continuous guidance and mentoring support at every stage of the process.
Although many start-ups have high-quality and innovative ideas, they often lack the practical knowledge, mentoring support, and relevant business connections necessary for their successful market implementation.
"This program is designed to bridge that gap, helping participants better understand how the market works, develop a sustainable and long-term stable business model, make first contacts with clients and partners, and increase their chances for investment and further growth," the statement said.
The ultimate goal of the program is to create a new generation of young entrepreneurs and strengthen the start-up community in Montenegro.
The call for applications will open soon, and all interested young entrepreneurs and start-up teams will be informed in a timely manner about the conditions and method of application.
