Cooperation with the European Union (EU) is of utmost importance for the further development of employment policies and the implementation of projects that contribute to sustainable economic development and a better quality of life for citizens, according to the Director of the Employment Agency, David Perčobić, and the EU Ambassador to Podgorica, Johan Sattler.
As part of his working visit to Pljevlja, Satler visited the Pljevlja Labor Bureau, where he spoke with the management of the Labor Office.
During the meeting, current trends in the labor market, the implementation of active employment policy measures, as well as activities implemented by the Institute aimed at increasing employability and strengthening social inclusion, especially in the northern region of Montenegro, were discussed.
Perčobić informed Satler about the results achieved in the previous period, emphasizing the Institute's commitment to further improving services, enhancing cooperation with employers, and implementing reforms aligned with European standards.
It was emphasized that the results of the Institute are confirmation that Montenegro is taking a reform-oriented and responsible step towards the European labor market.
The visit is a confirmation of the ongoing dialogue and shared commitment to building a modern, inclusive and competitive labor market in Montenegro.
