The president of the Democratic People's Party, Milan Knežević, reacted to the text "Spajić has nothing to do with Koreans".
"For the sake of the public, and not because of unnamed sources from Spajić's cabinet, I responsibly claim that the current prime minister exerted pressure and favored the South Korean Inchon Group in order to obtain concessions for the airfields in Zeta and Tivat. Dissatisfied with the first vote, Milojko Spajic He requested a meeting with the leaders of the parliamentary majority, at which he insisted that everyone, in accordance with their authority, exert influence on the members of the commission in order to repeat the vote.
Although many of the majority leaders are now suffering from amnesia, and will probably say out of sheer fear of being kicked out of the government that the meeting never happened, I will remind them, as well as Prime Minister Spajić and his chief of staff, that I repeated several times at that meeting that someone took money in this concession granting process. And best of all, no one contradicted me. I also said that the process is already compromised and that it should be annulled, because certain members of the commission close to Prime Minister Spajić spun brutal lies in the media in order to select the South Koreans as the top bidders. Not to mention the fact that, contrary to the law, South Koreans were allowed to tour Tivat airport during the process itself, which I personally warned Prime Minister Spajić about.
After the meeting of the parliamentary majority leaders, I was informed that Prime Minister Spajić himself addressed the members of the commission via video call, brutally violating the law and insisting on a new vote. I am ready to repeat everything I have said before the SDT, and I voluntarily offer to be heard on these allegations. From the very beginning of the commission's work, in informal conversations with the Prime Minister, it was clear to me that the South Koreans were the favorites, and the reasons are not difficult to deduce.
DNP has always been against giving the airport under concession, because we believed that both Zeta and Tivat airports were sustainable, especially since we recently celebrated our three millionth passenger, signed an agreement with WIZZ AIR, and created the basis for this company to be one of the rare examples of successful business in Montenegro.
That I am right is also confirmed by the fact that two days ago the Government again proposed amendments to the Law on Local Self-Government and Concessions, thus leaving Zeta and Tivat without 737 million euros that were legally due to them. This criminal act will certainly not go without a radical response from the citizens of Zeta, who will not allow the plundering of their resources, because now it is clear to everyone why the DNP bothered this corrupt Government. Because we voted against amendments to the Law on State Property so that the Government could sell state property without the Parliament, because we voted against the Agreement with Alabbar, because we will vote against the energy agreement with the Emirates, because we will also vote against the proposed amendments to the two laws.
"That's why I can't wait for Prime Minister Spajić to appear in the Parliament, so that we can confront arguments on this topic without whispers, unnamed sources, and useless bots."
