The Ministry of Public Works has selected the offer of the Podgorica-based company "Artek" worth 1.923.900 euros as the most favorable offer in the tender for the procurement of two vehicles for preparing and smoothing snow (snow plows) at the Rožaje ski center "Hajla - Štedim".
Work on this ski resort began in 2018, and more than 20,86 million euros have been invested in it so far, but this capital project has not yet come to life. Several tenders are underway by the Ministry, including for the construction of a lake for artificial snowmaking, pipelines and a conveyor belt with a gallery, while a tender for the construction of the ski center's base station is awaited.
The Ministry of Public Works told "Vijesti" in September last year that they expect this ski resort to be operational by 2027 at the latest.
The company "Artek" will have to deliver the sheets within four months of signing the contract, as well as train at least four people to use them. The tender was announced on September 18 last year, and after several changes to the documentation, it lasted until December 8. There is a possibility of appealing the choice of this company for two more days.
This project plans to purchase new unused vehicles, no older than 2024, and their diesel engines must have more than 500 horsepower, tanks with a volume of at least 250 liters, and be able to reach speeds of more than 20 kilometers per hour.
The second-ranked “Xenergy” with a bid of 1.983.054 euros and the third-ranked “Eurozox” with 1.995.774 euros also participated in the tender.
The Ministry previously said that about 80 percent of the total work has been completed at this ski resort and that several tenders are underway.
The ministry is currently looking for a company to prepare the project-technical documentation and build an accumulation lake for artificial snowmaking at the Hajla-Štedim ski center, and the job is worth 3.993.000 euros. The contractor for this project has been sought since early October last year.
The Ministry's tender for the conceptual design, main design and execution of works on the construction of hydrotechnical installations of the water supply network at the "Hajla i Štedim" ski center is also underway, which will be carried out for 2.783.000 euros on the "design and build" principle. The tender was announced at the end of June last year, and it plans to prepare technical documentation and carry out works on hydrotechnical infrastructure in order to provide the ski resort with the necessary amount of drinking water, sanitation and fire protection.
The Ministry is looking for a supplier to procure, transport and install a conveyor belt with a gallery at the Hajla - Štedim ski resort, and the work, which is being done on a design-build basis, is estimated at 1.306.800 euros. This tender was announced at the end of September last year.
