The expansion of Wizz Air's operations at Podgorica Airport represents an important step forward in strengthening connections with Europe, especially considering that 17 new attractive routes have been contracted that will be available to citizens, assessed the coordinator of the work of the Ministry of Transport, Filip Radulović.
He said that he was pleased with the successful opening of the new Wizz Air base in Podgorica.
Radulović, who is also the Minister of Maritime Affairs, met with Wizz Air Hungary CEO Roland Tišner and Government Relations Advisor Robert Kisa.
Tischner expressed an optimistic view when it comes to new lines.
"The opening of the new base further strengthens Wizz Air's capacities and this is one of the ways to provide citizens with access to the most important European destinations," said Tischner.
Kiš emphasized the importance of cooperation with Radulović.
"I believe that by working together we have managed to raise a lot of things to a higher level and that thanks to the teamwork between Wizz Air and Minister Radulović, we are seeing these results," added Kiš.
The interlocutors agreed that continued cooperation is key to the further development and improvement of air transport in Montenegro.
