The Board of Directors of the Employment Service (ZZZ) today adopted decisions aimed at improving employment and providing direct support to unemployed people.
The Steering Board made a decision on the selection of beneficiaries of funds for the implementation of the Active in the Community program, which will enable the employment of 433 unemployed people from categories at risk of social exclusion.
"Almost one million euros have been allocated for the implementation of this program, and the activities will be carried out for up to four months, with the largest number of participants planned in the northern region of Montenegro," the Institute said.
A decision was also adopted on the selection of grant beneficiaries within the Start2grow program - green click for activation, which encourages self-employment of beneficiaries of material security.
"19 unemployed people received support for starting their own business, which further encourages the creation of new jobs and overcoming unemployment through entrepreneurship," the Institute said.
Also, the Board of Directors adopted the Women's Training Program, Work to Qualification, which is intended for unemployed women, especially from vulnerable categories, with the aim of including them in professions in which they are traditionally underrepresented.
The program plans to include 75 women, with the expectation that the vast majority of participants will be employed during the duration of the program, for the implementation of which 327,97 thousand euros have been allocated.
"With the adopted decisions, the Institute continues to implement measures aimed at increasing employment and improving the position of the unemployed on the labor market," the statement concludes.
