Minister of Maritime Affairs and Coordinator of the Ministry of Transport Filip Radulović said that all four lanes on the Tivat - Jaz boulevard will be paved by the end of May.
In a post on the Iks network, he stated that intensive work is being carried out on asphalting the ninth section of the reconstruction of the Tivat - Jaz road.
"I still stand by what I said earlier, which is that all four lanes will be paved by the end of May. We will not allow the summer tourist season to be jeopardized. Everyone should know that we will have to work day and night to complete the boulevard before the start of the summer tourist season," Radulović stressed.
The first man of the Budva Municipality, Nikola Jovanović, told "Boje jutra" on TV Vijesti today that he does not expect the works on the Jaz - Tivat boulevard to be completed by the start of the tourist season.
"I'm not sure that with this dynamics it can be finished by the end of the calendar year, and if it is put into operation by the end of next year, or the beginning of the tourist season next year, then it will be, let me say, something more realistic. I think the latest information was that only two of the four lanes will be put into operation, but considering that I drove along that section the other day, I can responsibly say that it cannot be finished by the start of the tourist season," said Jovanović.
