The Government's attitude towards employees, unions, as well as pensioners, is frivolous and unacceptable, because they continue to humiliate citizens, said Miloš Konatar, MP from the Civic Movement URA.
Konatar emphasized that the Government has disappointed all citizens of Montenegro, and the refusal to talk with unions, employee associations and pensioner representatives represents a continuation of the policy of broken promises.
"While citizens are faced with rising prices and falling living standards every day, the government is ignoring existing problems and trying to cover them up with slogans about its alleged successes," Konatar said in a statement.
Montenegro, he said, needs concrete solutions and people who know how to implement them and who are sensitive to the problems of citizens.
"The government should not hide behind statements and midnight sessions via WhatsApp groups, but should immediately tackle the problems - by stabilizing public finances, stopping uncontrolled price growth, increasing living standards through greater economic activity, diversifying the economy, building a stable business environment and independent institutions, a new investment cycle in infrastructure development, digitalization, innovation and a green economy," concluded Konatar.
