The CEO of One, Branko Mitrović, is the new Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foreign Investors Council (FICS) in Montenegro.
At the annual general meeting of the SSI, which was held today in Budva, the representatives of the member companies voted to appoint the President of the Board of Directors of Zapad Banka, Lesia Vykhodtseva, and the Executive Director of Mtel, Zoran Milovanović, to the Board of Directors.
"Mitrović comes to the helm of SSI as a manager with more than two decades of experience in the telecommunications sector, most of which he spent in management positions. He has held the position of CEO of One Montenegro since July 2019," the statement said.
The SSI has been headed by the President of the Board of Directors of the Montenegrin Commercial Bank (CKB), Tamaš Kamaraši, for the past four years, during whose mandate the position of this business association has been further strengthened.
For almost two decades, SSI has been bringing together international companies present in Montenegro, and today it has 39 members that together generate around 21 percent of Montenegro's gross domestic product (GDP) and employ almost six thousand people.
"Through dialogue with institutions, the production of professional publications and the launch of initiatives aimed at improving the business environment and investment reputation of the country, SSI is one of the key partners in the process of economic development of Montenegro," the statement concludes.
