All types of fuel will become cheaper by one to eight cents from midnight, the Ministry of Energy and Mining announced.
A liter of Eurosuper 95 and 98 will be cheaper by one cent and will cost 1,60 euros and 1,64 euros, respectively.
The price of Eurodiesel will also be four cents lower and will amount to 1,67 euros.
The price of heating oil will be eight cents lower and will amount to 1,72 euros.
The Ministry reminded that the prices of Eurosuper 95 and 98, without the excise tax reduction, would be 1,77 euros and 1,80 euros, respectively, and Eurodiesel 1,78 euros.
The Ministry explained that the price calculation was made in accordance with the decision of May 11th on the reduction of excise duties on the sale of unleaded gasoline and gas oils, according to which the excise duty for unleaded gasoline is 412 euros per thousand liters, and for gas oils used as motor fuel is 352 euros per thousand liters.
This decision will apply from tomorrow until May 18th.
