President of the Municipal Assembly (MA) of Ulcinj Ivana Popović scheduled the second session of the First Regular Session of the SO for Thursday.
The 19-point agenda before the councilors will include, among other things, a proposal for a decision on the establishment of LLC "Gradski prevoz" Ulcinj, a proposal for a decision on establishing a new price list for utility services, and consideration of a request for the exclusion of the Mayor of the Municipality. Gentry of Nimanbegu.
"The establishment of DOO "Gradski prevoz" aims to organize and improve public urban and suburban scheduled passenger transport in the territory, as an activity of public interest. This activity is key to providing accessible, efficient and safe transport for citizens, which directly contributes to improving life in the local community, increasing population mobility and supporting economic and tourist activities in the municipality," it says in the explanatory statement of the proposal for the decision to establish "Gradski prevoz".
For this purpose, the Municipality has already provided five vans.
The councilors will also consider the proposal for a Decision on amending the Decision on determining the price of the municipal waste management service provided by "Communal Services" Ulcinj. Request for the exemption of the Mayor of the Municipality Gentry of Nimanbegu was filed by the legal representatives of several owners of houses on the Bojana River due to doubts about the legality of the work of the Municipal Police during the procedure for removing illegal structures from the banks of the river.
In addition to Nimanbegu, the owners are also seeking the exemption of all utility inspectors, the head of the Secretariat for Communal Supervision and Inspection Affairs Amir Mehmeti and the chief administrator Naser Resulbegović as a second-instance body.
Nimanbegu asked the Speaker of the Assembly, Ivana Popović, to have the councilors express their views on all three requests for exemption, even though two of them concern him, since, as he stated, they are about the same legal matter.
