Bijelo Polje: Record profit of Parking Service

The Parking servis Bijelo Polje company crowned 2025 with record financial results and complete stabilization of its business. With a profit of almost 68 thousand euros and revenues that exceeded the planned by more than 21 percent, the management, led by the director Ismar Ćorović It laid a solid foundation for further modernization and digitalization of services.

This is stated in the Parking Service's 2025 Work Report, which will be discussed at today's session of the Municipal Assembly.

"Parking servis successfully completed 2025 with clear financial progress, confirming the stability of operations and the correctness of management decisions made in the previous period. The company's total revenue in 2025 amounted to 462.252 euros, which is over 21 percent above the plan, while expenses were strictly controlled and amounted to 394.433 euros. As a result of such a ratio of income and expenses, a profit of 67.818 euros was achieved, which represents one of the best financial results since the company's founding," Ćorović stated in the report.

A special contribution, Čorović pointed out, was made by the development of multiple payment channels and better organization of field work, which directly influenced higher collection and more efficient use of existing capacities.

"During 2025, Parking Servis invested in infrastructure and modernization. Parking spaces were renovated and arranged, signage was renewed, and the city garage was further modernized by introducing modern ramps and technical solutions. In parallel, digital solutions were developed that will further facilitate access to services for users in the coming period. Positive business operations also enabled the continuation of the financial stabilization process. Debts were significantly reduced, obligations to employees and suppliers are being settled regularly, and preconditions for new investments were created," he said.

The parking service employs 21 workers, with regular salaries and improved working conditions.

"Special focus is placed on professional relations with citizens, because everyday communication with users is the basis of trust in the work of the company. Although the results are encouraging, challenges still exist. The growth in the number of vehicles and limited parking space remain key problems in the city. That is why, in the coming period, special attention will be paid to finding new parking locations, further digitalization of the system and raising the level of traffic culture," said Ćorović.

The local parliamentarians will be presented with reports on the implementation of the Municipal Assembly's work program and the work of the Mayor and local government bodies and services for the past year, the election of the Deputy Mayor of the Municipal Assembly, the report on the work of the Council for the Protection and Development of Local Self-Government for 2025, as well as proposed decisions on the Municipality's participation in the costs of implementing the "Day Care for the Elderly" project and establishing the "Avdo Međedović" Public Institution.

In addition, the agenda of the parliamentary session will include work reports and financial reports from several institutions.

Among the items on the agenda are the work report and financial report of the Tourist Organization for 2025, the work program and financial plan for 2026, as well as reports on the implementation of the water supply and municipal wastewater separation program for 2025 of the "Bistrica" ​​Water Supply Company.

The Assembly's agenda will also include a report on the security situation, information on the state of primary and secondary health care in the municipality, proposals for decisions to amend the Decision on remuneration for the work of councilors and other persons elected and appointed by the Municipal Assembly, the allocation of subsidies for the costs of passenger transportation of local residents and the allocation of subsidies for the costs of monthly student transportation tickets for high school students, as well as amendments to the decision on taxi transportation.
