The Shas Heights project on Shas Lake near Ulcinj is ready, announced the Arab investor and founder of the Eagle Hills company, Mohamed Alabar, adding that he plans to build in Budva as well.
He said at the RE:D conference in Budva that in the coming weeks he intends to tour northern Montenegro and assess what kind of resorts could be built there, reports Mediabiro.
"I think we have a good chance to do something very significant with the support of the local community in Budva. They accepted us, the mayor was a great supporter of us," said Alabar.
He added that his heart is in the mountains.
"Design a project for me in the mountains. We all know Montenegro for the coast and Porto Montenegro, but the mountains are beautiful. In the next few weeks we will see if we can do something there," Alabar said.
When it comes to Velika Plaza, he said that discussions are underway with partners.
"The local community has been kind to us," Alabar said.
He added that the Šas Heights project is a nice start to cooperation with Montenegro.
"We are very grateful to have been given the opportunity to create something unique, exclusive related to nature, longevity, hospitality and permanent residence. It is a project for us to learn more about Montenegro and its beauty," said Alabar.
Speaking about the crisis in the Middle East, he said that it had affected Dubai in such a way that hotels were only five percent full and shopping malls were almost empty. However, he added that he had learned from previous global events that a safe system needed to be built.
"Everything is happening on time. We have $45 billion worth of projects being done in Dubai and it's all working properly. Our clients are paying on time and that shows trust," Alabar concluded.
