The content is unacceptably average: The opening ceremony filled the city, Budva expects a great season

Judging by the exceptionally well-attended opening ceremony of this year's season, where the concert by the world-famous DJ duo ARTBAT gathered several thousand visitors, and the old town square was cramped to accommodate all those interested, Budva has a bountiful summer ahead of it.

"The audience came from the region and Europe, and the regional online pre-season campaign showed results. ARTBAT brought world-class energy and Budva recognized it," the director of the Budva Tourist Organization told "Vijesti". Milan Tičić.

The season opening ceremony was organized by the Tourist Board and the Municipality of Budva.

"Fans from North Macedonia, Croatia, Bosnia, Serbia, Albania, Hungary came to the concert... This is proof that Budva has an appeal far broader than the local market. We are particularly pleased with the response from the domestic audience and electronic music fans from our region," said Tičić.

The weather conditions were favorable for the concert, and as Tičić emphasizes, they were in contact with everyone who headed to Budva through social media until the end, with the promise that the concert would be held regardless of the weather and possible rain, which did not occur.

"We haven't received a single negative comment. On the contrary, the audience continues to write enthusiastically about the energy, lighting effects, sound, performances and atmosphere. In informal communication with the manager, we learned that their visit to Budva was special - they had an energy known only to them with the audience and it was evident because they themselves had fun and enjoyed the rhythm and music they created," said Tičić.

According to him, the old town square was full even though the date was not particularly attractive.

He said that the Budva Defense Force and the Municipality are continuing at the same pace even stronger.

"It is unacceptable that we produce average content, because this is an example of how not only Budva, but also domestic and foreign guests want quality. ARTBAT came from Ibiza and Los Angeles, traveled to Lisbon, and here they felt a synergy with the audience that is memorable. This is a strong message ahead of a summer that promises to be unforgettable," said Tičić.
