Works on the Tivat-Jaz road section are being carried out according to the planned schedule, announced the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Coordinator of the Ministry of Transport, Filip Radulović, adding that the road will be ready for uninterrupted traffic during the upcoming summer tourist season.
"Work on the Tivat–Jaz section is being carried out according to plan, and at this point, about 1,2 kilometers of road remain to be paved. We have intensified the activities of the contractors so that all four lanes will be paved by the start of the summer tourist season," said Radulović during a tour of the works.
He stated that this infrastructure project will not pose an obstacle to the tourist season, emphasizing that upon completion of the works, citizens and tourists will receive a more modern and safer road, with a significant improvement in the connectivity of coastal municipalities.
"By modernizing this road, we will gain significantly better connectivity to the coast, greater safety for all traffic participants, and better quality infrastructure, which is important for both the local population and the tourism industry of Montenegro," concluded Radulović.
