Airports of Montenegro (ACG) has urged passengers flying tomorrow (Friday, June 5) to arrive early at Podgorica and Tivat airports due to the changed road traffic regime during the day.
ACG said that given that access to Podgorica Airport will be prohibited tomorrow between 9:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., they are urging passengers with flights during that period to be in front of the terminal no later than 9:30 a.m.
"In addition to this period, road traffic will also be closed between 16:40 p.m. and 17:40 p.m., which is why we advise all passengers with flights during that interval to be at the airport no later than 16:40 p.m.," the ACG statement said.
They stated that the road through Plantaže will not be open to the public tomorrow.
ACG said that, bearing in mind that tomorrow access to the airport from the direction of Tivat will be prohibited from 8:30 a.m. until the evening hours, they are calling on all passengers who have departing flights during the day tomorrow to be at the airport no later than 8:30 a.m.
"On the other hand, the road from Budva and Kotor to Tivat Airport will only close at 13 p.m., so we urge passengers with flights after that period to be at the airport no later than 13 p.m.," the statement said.
It is stated that the Municipality of Tivat has provided boat transfers to Tivat, Kotor and Herceg Novi for arriving passengers, and buses for those continuing their journey to Budva.
