Participation in Eurochambers is an opportunity to affirm the interests of the economy

The participation of the Chamber of Commerce (PKCG) at the Eurochambers Assembly represents an opportunity for additional networking, exchange of experiences and affirmation of the interests of the Montenegrin economy in the European integration process, the economic association assessed.

At the meeting of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce (Eurochambers), held in Valletta, the future of the European economy, its competitiveness and the challenges facing businesses were discussed.

"Financial and program documents for the coming period were adopted, and the main topic was strengthening the competitiveness of the European economy through increasing productivity and simplifying administrative burdens for companies," the statement from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro states.

They added that representatives of member chambers discussed specific measures to create a more favorable business environment that will enable European entrepreneurs to do business more easily and invest more in growth, development and innovation.

"During the meeting, the participants once again emphasized the key role of chambers of commerce in representing the interests of business people at the European level, as well as the importance of mutual cooperation in promoting competitiveness, resilience and sustainable development of the European economy," said the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Montenegro.

They recalled that a meeting of public law chambers of commerce was organized on the eve of the Eurochambres General Assembly, where current economic challenges and opportunities for strengthening cooperation between these business associations were discussed.

"The challenges posed to the European economy by global trade trends, green and digital transitions, as well as the need to further reduce administrative burdens on the economy were also discussed," the statement said.

The Eurochambres Assembly, they added, confirmed the shared commitment of the chamber system to creating conditions that will enable European companies to operate more successfully in an increasingly demanding global economic environment.
