Liješević: Current management has improved the Budva Riviera

The "Budvanska rivijera" hotel group achieved a positive business result in 2025 in the amount of 1.496.420 euros in net profit, announced Tamara Liješević, member of the Board of Directors of that hotel group.

She was reacting to the statement of Andrea Radulović, a member of the Democratic Party of Socialists in the Budva Municipal Assembly.

Councilor Radulović's allegations that the current management of Budvanska Riviera "does not have the knowledge, ability or vision" to manage this company are incorrect. For the sake of her accurate information, and most importantly, for the sake of truthful and objective information of the Montenegrin public, we point out that the current management, chaired by Luka Vukalović since August 2025, manages Budvanska Riviera legally, responsibly and, above all, in a homely manner.

We remind Montenegrin citizens, and also Councilwoman Radulović, that at the end of December 2025, the current management finally put an end to the long-standing business relationship with the company Euromiks and released Budvanska Rivijera from paying someone else's debt. Councilwoman Radulović forgets that the payment of someone else's debt is in dispute, and without any means of guaranteeing obligations from the contractual relationship from 2017, when Budvanska Rivijera, as executive director and president of the Board of Directors, was managed by DPS personnel.

In contrast, through the dedicated work of the current Board of Directors, Budvanska rivijera has not only resolved its relationship with Euromiks, but has also increased its assets and become the owner of 25 accommodation units and a spa center in a hotel facility in Petrovac, as well as two business premises. By putting the new facility into operation, Budvanska rivijera will increase its accommodation capacities this summer and enrich its tourism product and offer.

We would like to inform the public that the Hotel Group "Budvanska rivijera" achieved a positive business result in 2025 in the amount of 1.496.420 euros of net profit. The amount of net profit would have been significantly higher if it had not been directly affected by extraordinary, unplanned outflows based on various court rulings and settlements, dating from the years when the Budvanska rivijera was managed by DPS. On this basis, in the past year, almost 10 million euros were paid from the Company's account, without the Company's operations being jeopardized from a liquidity perspective.

In the part about the allegations about the cost of renovation of Slovenska plaža and the bad ratings on the Booking platform, we point out that councilor Radulović was obviously late with the press release. She should have made such remarks at least a year ago, not now and certainly not by attributing them to the current management of the Company. Also, instead of unfounded attacks on the current management, we expect councilor Radulović to focus her critical attention on the sale of hotels and assets of Budvanska Riviera during the DPS government, because the current management of the Company, as the results testify, is not reducing but rather increasing the assets of Budvanska Riviera.

Dear Montenegrin citizens and councilor Radulović,

The current management of Budvanska Rivijera certainly has the knowledge, ability and vision to manage and improve the operations of Budvanska Rivijera. The Company's management will continue to legally, efficiently and dedicatedly implement the set business goals and development policies aimed at good business results and strengthening competitiveness.

For this reason, unfounded criticism and political populism can in no way deter the current management of the Company from undertaking activities that will always be in the interest of the shareholders of Budva Riviera, and therefore the citizens of Montenegro. This is evidenced by the results we have achieved since August 2025, while home-based business and a clear vision are our imperatives that we will not give up.
