NTO presents the tourist offer in Novi Sad

The National Tourism Organization (NTO) presented its summer tourism offer at a press conference in Novi Sad, in order to further promote Montenegro in one of the most important markets.

The NTO said that the conference presented the most important segments of the tourist offer for the upcoming season, with a special focus on events and manifestations, accommodation capacities, opportunities for active vacations, as well as the entire offer of the coast, the central part of the country and the north.

Advisor to the Director of the NTO, Amel Dedeić, said that the Serbian market is one of the most important for Montenegrin tourism, and that in the first four months of this year, compared to the same period last year, a nine percent increase in the number of arrivals was recorded.

The number of overnight stays, according to him, was 20 percent higher.

"These results confirm the continued interest of guests from Serbia in Montenegro and represent a strong incentive for the continuation of promotional activities in this market," said Dedeić.

He believes that cooperation with the tourist organizations of Vojvodina and Novi Sad is important for mutual promotion and strengthening of tourist flows between the two countries.

The conference was attended by media representatives from Vojvodina and Serbia, including Novosadska TV, RTV Vojvodina, Dunav TV, TOP Srbija, Mađar Soa and Turistička prizma.

The NTO also announced that as part of activities aimed at promoting Montenegro, a study visit is currently being implemented for the most important media from Serbia, who will have the opportunity to visit tourist destinations across the country during their four-day stay and learn about the novelties and content offered during the summer season.
