Ivaštinović heads the Association of Financial Directors of Montenegro, Šoć and Raičković in the Presidency of the AMM

Damir Ivaštinović, member of the Board of Directors in charge of risks and finance at Erste Bank, was elected as the first president of the Association of Financial Directors of Montenegro (CFO Association Montenegro), while Ivan Šoć and Dražen Raičković were appointed as new members of the Presidency of the Association of Managers of Montenegro (AMM).

AMM announced that with these elections they are further strengthening the role of the umbrella leadership and management business organization in the country.

"The election of the first president represents an important step in establishing the CFO Association as a central professional platform that brings together financial directors and top financial managers of leading companies and institutions in Montenegro," the statement said.

As it is added, the establishment of the CFO Association was supported by leading Montenegrin companies and institutions from the banking, insurance, energy, tourism, telecommunications, auditing and financial consulting sectors, which delegated their top financial managers - financial directors, board members responsible for finance and other managers - as members of the Assembly. In this way, the CFO Association has gathered the most influential financial leaders of the Montenegrin economy since its establishment.

AMM said that the newly elected president of the CFO Association of Montenegro, Damir Ivaštinović, is considered one of the most experienced financial professionals in the region, with more than 17 years of international experience within Erste Group, including CFO, CRO and COO positions in several countries in Southeast Europe.

"His election represents a strong foundation for the further development of the CFO Association and its positioning as the leading professional community of financial leaders in Montenegro," said the AMM.

The constituent session of the CFO Association is planned for early July, when representatives of leading companies and institutions will gather for the first time, confirm the composition of the Assembly, elect members of the Management and Executive Boards of the CFO Association, and define the priorities of the future work of this professional association.

AMM announced that the appointment of new members of the Presidency, Ivan Šoć and Dražen Raičković, is part of the Association's strategic commitment to further strengthen the areas of artificial intelligence, digital transformation and technological innovation, which have an increasingly significant impact on the business environment and competitiveness of companies.

Ivan Šoć, founder and president of Five Group, is one of the leading promoters of the application of artificial intelligence, robotics and advanced digital technologies in Montenegro, while Dražen Raičković, CEO of Finance Plus and PhD in Economics, is recognized for his work in the fields of finance, digital solutions and business innovation.

The AMM Presidency assessed that modern business requires leaders who simultaneously understand finance, technology, and transformation processes, and that additional strengthening of the organization with experts from these and other fields will contribute to the realization of the Association's strategic goals.

The AMM Presidency believes that the establishment of the CFO of the Association and the further strengthening of the organization's highest bodies are part of a broader development strategy that further positions the Association as a gathering place for leading Montenegrin companies and their leaders.

"Through stronger connections with the business community and cooperation with representatives of the public and academic sectors, AMM continues to build a platform for knowledge exchange, launching development initiatives and creating solutions that can contribute to strengthening the competitiveness and sustainable development of the Montenegrin economy," they said.
