The business delegation that will be in Kazakhstan during the official visit of President Jakov Milatović to Astana will have the task of presenting Montenegro as a stable, open and attractive investment destination, ready for new forms of economic cooperation and partnership, the President's Office announced.

A meeting was held today, organized by the Office of the President of Montenegro, with members of the business delegation that will be visiting Kazakhstan as part of Milatović's official bilateral visit to Astana.

Milatović's office said that the meeting discussed in detail the platform with which Montenegrin businessmen will present during the visit, with the aim of strengthening bilateral economic cooperation between Montenegro and Kazakhstan.

"Special emphasis was placed on establishing direct contacts between businessmen of the two countries, identifying concrete business opportunities, as well as opening space for potential investment projects of common interest," Milatović's office said.

It is stated that the sectors that have been recognized as particularly important for cooperation are tourism and the hotel industry, real estate, investments, agriculture and the food industry, information technology, transport and logistics.

"The economic delegation will have the task of presenting Montenegro as a stable, open and attractive investment destination, ready for new forms of economic cooperation and partnership, during its stay in Kazakhstan," the statement said.

As announced, Milatović's official visit to Astana represents an important political framework for further connecting the two countries, but also an opportunity to encourage stronger economic dynamics, attract investments and open new markets for Montenegrin companies through concrete business talks.

"Montenegro wants to further strengthen bilateral relations with Kazakhstan through concrete projects, direct cooperation between businessmen and new economic opportunities that will benefit the citizens and economies of both countries," the statement said.
