Ministry of Economic Development: Montenegro committed to establishing Roam Like at Home regime

Montenegro strongly welcomes the adoption of the negotiating directives of the Council of the European Union (EU) for the inclusion of Western Balkan countries in the Roam Like at Home (RLAH) regime, the Ministry of Economic Development announced.

Montenegro, as announced, remains committed to this process, so that negotiations progress efficiently and so that citizens can feel the benefits of this initiative as soon as possible, which represents another concrete step towards integration into the single European digital market.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development, Đeljošaj, participated today in the Ministerial Meeting on the establishment of the RLAH regime between the EU and the Western Balkan countries, organized by the Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighborhood (DG ENEST) and the Directorate-General for Communications Networks, Content and Technologies (DG CNECT).

"During the meeting, key elements of the negotiating guidelines adopted by the EU Council were presented, as well as the next steps in the negotiation process on the inclusion of the Western Balkan countries in the European roaming regime with EU member states and the conclusion of individual sectoral agreements for the countries," the statement added.
