The company Morsko dobro has launched a project to develop Pizana Beach, which adorns the Old Town and is one of the symbols of Budva, with the aim of making it available to citizens as a public beach, without leases or commercial restrictions, the company announced today.
The director of the Morgski dobro, Mladen Mikijelj, said that the area has been cleaned, access has been improved, and better conditions have been created for rest and recreation for all generations.
"This marks the first step towards creating a place that will be equally enjoyed by our fellow citizens and tourists, and above all families with children," said Mikijelj.
He added that Pizana is not just one of the most beautiful beaches in Budva - it is part of the identity of our city and a place where memories of numerous generations were created.
He said that was why it was important to preserve it as a space accessible to everyone.
"The Morski dobro team has successfully completed the first phase of the renovation, and the beach will, thanks to the young members of our team, be maintained on a daily basis. Additional improvements are planned for the coming period. Unfortunately, we were unable to carry out certain construction works due to the traffic regime and the inability of machinery to pass. However, we believe that in the coming days we will find understanding from all those responsible and continue with the further renovation of Pizana," the statement reads.
