Montenegro is ready to close Chapter 14 - Transport Policy, it was announced after a meeting between the Minister of Maritime Affairs and Coordinator of the Ministry of Transport, Filip Radulović, and the European Union (EU) Commissioner for Transport, Apostolos Tsikikostas.
As announced by the Ministry of Maritime Affairs, Radulović and Tsicikostas met on the sidelines of the "Transport Investment Summit" in Thessaloniki.
It is stated that the meeting noted the progress that Montenegro has made on its path towards the EU.
"The interlocutors agreed that Montenegro will be a new member of the EU as early as 2028," the statement said.
