The Traffic Administration announced that preparatory work has begun on the reconstruction of the Ostros - Vladimir regional road.
They emphasize that this is one of the most significant infrastructure projects for the Bar and Ulcinj area.
The reconstruction covers a section of about 17 kilometers in length. The value of the contracted works is about 15 million euros excluding VAT, or about 18 million euros including tax.
The contractor is the company "Putevi Bar", while the expert supervision is carried out by the company "Geo Spiin" from Podgorica.
The works, among other things, include a comprehensive reconstruction of the road, bridge rehabilitation, widening of the existing roadway, construction of retaining walls, landslide rehabilitation...
"The implementation of the project will improve traffic safety, connectivity of settlements in the Ostros and Vladimir areas, as well as accessibility of this part of Montenegro. Higher quality road infrastructure will contribute to the further economic, agricultural and tourist development of the area between Bar and Ulcinj," the statement reads.
