In the end, heating oil prices increased by 12 cents, Eurosuper 95 by a cent

From midnight, the price of heating oil and Eurosuper 95 will increase at gas stations across Montenegro.

Heating oil has increased in price by 12 cents, so it will cost 1,70 euros per liter for the next seven days.

Following the government's decision to reduce excise duty on fuel, diesel has become cheaper - so it will cost 1,65 euros from midnight, instead of the previous 1,67 euros.

Eurosuper 98 will cost 1,68 for the next seven days, and Eurosuper 95 will increase in price by a cent, to 1,65 euros.

The Government announced earlier this evening that the price of both types of gasoline will remain unchanged, while the Ministry of Energy and Mining announced that the price of Eurosuper 95 has increased by one cent.

"Based on the Decision on the amount of excise duties on the sale of unleaded gasoline and gas oils, which was adopted tonight at the electronic session of the Government of Montenegro and will be published in the Official Gazette of Montenegro under number 105/26, the retail prices of petroleum products have been corrected. The aim of this measure is to ensure a more favorable supply of citizens and the economy, while preserving the stability of the petroleum products market, through a reduction in the fiscal burden," the Ministry of Energy and Mining said in a statement.

The next showdown will take place on July 27th.
