The Electric Power Company of Montenegro (EPCG) announced that due to the works being carried out by Green Gvozd doo, a company owned by EPCG, on the construction of the 110 kV Gvozd - Nikšić transmission line, there will be temporary interruptions in the supply of electricity to certain settlements.
According to them, the long-distance line represents part of the infrastructure necessary for connecting the Gvozd Wind Farm to the electricity transmission system.
"Power outages are planned for August 6 and 7, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and will affect consumers in the settlements of Seoce, Vučje, Gvozd, Ivanje, Ćeranića Gora and Krnovo," the EPCG statement states.
The construction of this infrastructure, as stated by EPCG, creates conditions for the inclusion of new production capacities from renewable energy sources and further strengthening of the Montenegrin power system.
"We thank citizens for their understanding and patience during the work," it was announced.
