Meetings dedicated to further activities on the implementation of the Đalovića Cave project will be held on Wednesday, September 16, in Bijelo Polje at the initiative of the Minister of Public Works Majda Adžović, the Ministry of Public Works announced.
The statement did not specify the exact location or time of the meeting.
As stated by the department headed by Adžović, the main goal of the meeting is to resolve the multi-year stalemate and define the next steps for the completion of this capital tourism project in northern Montenegro.
The meetings will, as announced, be fully open to the media to ensure maximum transparency of the process.
In this way, the public will have direct insight into the discussions, positions and agreements reached between state institutions and local governments, said the Ministry of Public Works.
The announcement of the meeting comes amid political and institutional squabbles over the issue of expropriation of "three walnuts" on the transmission line route.
While the Ministry of Public Works claimed that the Municipality was to blame for the project's delay, the Municipality claimed the opposite, pointing to the inefficiency of the state administration as the main obstacle.
