The President of the Municipality of Petnjica, Samir Agović, boasted at the local Executive Committee of the DPS that, with the knowledge of the party leadership, he bought the support of the SNP councilor Zaim Ličina, can be heard on the recording, which "Vijesti" had access to.
"We needed that man in the relationship between Bosniaks and us. And we did it in coordination. Here, Drago (former deputy Čantrić) knows that, Tarzan Milošević knows that, Sveto Marović knows that," said Agović at the Executive Board of the DPS in Petnjica in March 2015.
The DPS-Bosniak Party coalition in the newly formed municipality of Petnjica was about to be shot shortly after the formation of the local government, and the president of Petnjica BS and head of the local parliament, Adnan Muhović, announced that they would turn to the opposition.
This, however, did not come true, and DPS was nevertheless secured because SNP councilor Zaim Ličina voted for the final account of the Municipality's budget for 2014 and the report on the work of the President of the Municipality, Samir Agović.
At that time, six councilors of the DPS did not attend the session, as well as the president of the Petnjica DPS, Mehmet Adrović, who was in Germany at the time. Assembly decisions would not have been adopted without the support of Ličina, because SDP councilors abstained.
At the IO DPS held a few months later, as can be heard on the video, Agović and the president of the Petnjik DPS, Mehmet Adrović, quarreled over Ličina. On the agenda is the preparation of the party for the parliamentary elections and the membership count.
At the time, certain media claimed that Agović and Adrović were in conflict and that there were two currents in the local DPS, but they denied this.
On the recording from the meeting of the IO DPS Petnjica, Agović can be heard saying that he "finished" so that Muhović (BS) would not blackmail them again. He responds to Adrović's remark that one of their activists, without mentioning his name, is angry because they did not help him, and that many in the DPS are dissatisfied because it seems too much to "one man".
Samir Agović says that they needed the loan "because of the relationship with the Bosniaks" and that people on the ground should be explained that there are higher goals at stake.
"Is Zaim the man we are from the top... you know for sure. And Tarzan Milošević... Let's skip that story for once. Because you don't stand well with him, because Senad doesn't stand well with him, because a lot of people don't stand up with him, we now have a problem here. Let's finally stop...," Agović said.
He told the party leader that he had to explain to the activists that they should calm down.
"Guys, don't comment on that, there are some higher goals, politics with water in a serious and responsible way, with clear attitudes that Adnan can never blackmail us again or make us a smaller party than what we are. That's what I'm doing for that, not because someone loves Zaim", the words of Agović can be heard.
In the local elections of 2013, in the newly formed municipality of Petnjica, DPS entered the local parliament with 15 and BS with four mandates. At that time, the SDP with 11 and the SNP with one councilor remained in the opposition benches. 16 votes are needed to pass decisions.
Transcript: Adnan cannot pretend that we are a smaller party
Mehmet Adrović: As for this guy, now I hear that some other people asked, begged... Yes, from the first day, good success was a problem. No one can guarantee anything, good success. I didn't stand up for myself and my child, but for his children, and now I'm hearing about these other guys for the first time, I don't know, no one told me that. Samir said 'we did as much as we could', I can't do anything...
Someone throws: How can you when there are elections? How can you do that? Then anything is possible.
Samir Agovic: Can you hear me, man of God, Samir and Drago are not there, so let me say 'Let's finish'. But we will write a report that there is nothing we can do. In the end, I will resign if we can't do anything, I will resign.
Mehmet Adrović: To conclude, I said it nicely, I will never keep silent in the interest of the party, in the interest of our electorate. Nowhere what is done and how it is done. Here, there is a lot of vomit in these papers, what our people say, I can't keep quiet about it, why should I keep quiet? I have to talk to the mayor. Because of a couple of people on the field, we have a big problem in the party, that means a big problem. If we do non-stop to one…
Samir Agovic: Is Zaim the man we are from the top..., you know for sure, and Tarzan Milošević... And let's skip that story for once. Because you don't stand well with him, because Senad doesn't stand well with him, because a lot of people don't stand up with him, we have a problem here. Let's finally stop for once... We needed that man in the relationship between Bosniaks and us. And we did it in coordination. Here, Drago knows it, Tarzan Milošević knows it, Sveto Marović knows it. Give us one more time to stop, and that you can easily stop those people on the field and say: 'Guys, don't comment on that, there are some higher goals, politics with water in a serious way, and responsible, with clear attitudes that we will never Adnan can no longer blackmail or make us out to be a lesser party than what we are. That's why I do it, not because someone loves Zaim.
I supported Agović as a lesser evil, my son got a job at the competition
SNP councilor Zaim Ličina told "Vijesti" that "he is not a miserable man to be bought".
"I will not underestimate and belittle the voters who voted for me. My son was employed in the Municipality a year ago because he graduated from university, he applied for the competition", said Ličina, answering the question whether DPS employed his son in the Petnjik administration.
"I don't support that DPS, even today I don't worship that party, which every normal person can see where it leads to." At that time, I supported, the truth is alive, the final account and the report of Agović because there was another person in the game to replace him. An old proverb says that the lesser of two evils is to be chosen. That other one is Mehmet Adrović, he led the game, he called from Germany, where he was when the budget was voted on," said Ličina.
He explained that Adrović did not call him personally, but the councilors of the DPS, from whom he heard that the president of the Petnjik DPS plans not to vote on the final resolution in the Assembly, because that would also "fall" the president of the Municipality.
"Samir is a better man and worker, he is more useful for the people," Ličina assessed.
