Euro-Atlantic integration, the development of the north and greater representation of minorities in institutions are the key interests that the Bosniak Party (BS) will be guided by when deciding on the formation of the government, said the president of the party, Rafet Husović, saying that the partnership is not built just one month after the election. According to him, the BS Presidency adopted a political platform on the principles of joint action of political representatives of minority nations at its regular session. Husović told the MINA agency that the main elements of the agreement relate to the strengthening of Montenegro as a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional state, acceleration of Euro-Atlantic integration, further democratization of society in accordance with the regulations and standards of the European Union, strengthening of institutions and the rule of law. The elements of the agreement also refer to the proportionate representation of minority peoples in all state bodies and institutions, faster regional development of the north of Montenegro and underdeveloped areas, and the creation of conditions for the improvement of the overall social, economic and cultural environment in Montenegro, especially in areas where members of minority peoples live. . Husović assessed that, after agreeing on the common platform, conditions were created for the official start of talks on the formation of a new government. The Presidency of the BS has appointed a negotiating team consisting of the Vice-President of the BS and head of the negotiation team Munib Ličina, Vice-President Nedžad Drešević, Political Director Suljo Mustafić and member of the Presidency Mersudin Gredić. Husović said that in the election campaign they clearly communicated the goals of BS. "Accelerated development of Euro-Atlantic integration, faster development of the north and underdeveloped municipalities, stability of Montenegro and the region, greater representation of members of minority nations in the institutions of the system". "These will be the key interests that the presidency and the Main Committee will be guided by when deciding on the creation of a new parliamentary majority. Trust and partnership are not built just one month after the elections, but through continuous cooperation between the elections," he said. Husović, as he said, appreciates that there are different views and opinions in all political parties, including in BS, and that, as before, he respects them. "I expect complete support and unity of the BS for the positions and proposal of the presidency, and at the session of the Main Board I will inform the members in detail about all the offers that have arrived at the address of the BS." "I believe that a stable political majority is a condition for a stable Montenegro and the region, which are the priorities of the BS", Husović said.
