All options are still open for the formation of Duško Marković's government and when it comes to choosing candidates for ministers from among his Democratic Party of Socialists.
According to reliable information from "Vijesti", Marković does not want Petar Ivanović, Deputy Prime Minister and former Minister of Agriculture in Milo Đukanović's cabinet, as an associate.
Ivanović, whom the DPS unofficially claims that people close to him have pushed in public that he is seen as a mandate for the composition of the government, is part of the inner circle of Đukanović's associates so far, and it is not excluded that the head of the DPS will insist on staying.
Ivanovic lost his position as Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development when the opposition entered the government in May, and Đukanović opened the post of vice president for him, from which he often opened water pipes in Montenegro before the elections. In some media, close to Ivanovic, there is speculation that he will remain in the position of Deputy Prime Minister.
According to "Vijesti" information, several DPS officials are publicly self-candidating for ministerial seats these days, although they did not receive an official offer from Marković.
It has not been decided which department will belong to which department, but there will be completely new ministries, as well as those that will be created by separating or merging some current departments.
In Marković's government, according to unofficial information so far, there is no place for Defense Minister Milica Pejanović Đurišić, almost certainly for Science Minister Sanja Vlahović, Ministers of Economy, Health and Human Rights Vladimir Kavarić, Budimir Šegrt and Suad Numanović.
"Vijesti" sources claim that Minister of Education Predrag Bošković is a possible member of Marković's government in another position and that the position of Minister of Justice is probably retained by Zoran Pažin. Although it is mentioned, it is not certain that the former Minister of Labor and Social Welfare Zorica Kovačević could be returned to the executive power, because it is possible that she will be offered the position of director of the Clinical Center of Montenegro.
For the current minister of sustainable development and tourism, Branimir Gvozdenović, they claim that he will not stay with Marković, but there is also information that it is not impossible for him to get the position of deputy prime minister.
The Ministry of Sports, which will be formed, will be led by former water polo player Nikola Janović (DPS).
The director of the Customs Administration, Vladan Joković, the former president of the Parliamentary Committee for Security, Mevludin Nuhodžić, and the former vice-president of the Parliament of Montenegro, Milutin Simović, are also speaking for possible ministers. Joković is mentioned for finance, but no other portfolio has been ruled out, including the Ministry of Internal Affairs, for which Nuhodžić is also reportedly a candidate. There is no mention yet of who could take over the department of economy.
The president of the Social Democrats, Ivan Brajović, is currently the main candidate for the head of the parliament, while his current position as Minister of Transport would be succeeded by Damir Šehović.
Vujica Lazović remains the Deputy Prime Minister, and the SD is also looking for a supporting department for him.
In addition to the SD, the DPS needs the Bosniak Party to form the government, which wants to keep the post of Deputy Prime Minister for Regional Development and two ministerial positions - for agriculture and labor, HGI and the "Albanians Resolute" coalition.
Albanian representatives are looking for vice-presidential positions in the government and the Assembly, as well as a ministerial post - tourism or human and minority rights.
