The municipal board of the Bosniak Party (BS) of Rožaje, at the session held today, unanimously decided that the coalition of the BS with the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in that city should be dissolved.
This was confirmed for Radio "Rožaje" by the president of OO BS Amer Nokić.
"On one of the points, we considered the coalition relationship and what was the result of the negotiations we had with the previous coalition partner, when we made the decision to end cooperation with Socialdemokratska party, because we no longer have adequate conditions to exercise power together," said Nokić, who reminded that it has been a current story for a long time about the coalition in the city on the Ibar, that the number of councilors changed due to split in the SDP, which was also reflected in the decisionlearning tasks during performance local authorities.
"We believe that the conditions have been met, because we got hits and at the state level and the way SDP treats BS, that regardless of relations within executive functions are no longer possible to perform jointly power. The members of the OO appreciated that it is not politically useful to on the municipal level, we consider as a partner someone who communicates certain attitudes and accusations which do not stand", said Nokić and added that it was one of the reasons for the termination coalition and the fact that "the members of the SDP have recently become passive and they did not perform the functions to which they were assigned in their full capacity".
Nokić rejected the possibility of forming a new coalition with Ivan Brajović's Social Democrats.
"We also had SD's offer on the table and concluded that that offer was not good either acceptable for BS, because we believe that in many ways it requires more than are real relations of power," said Nokić.
The Rožaj Parliament has 34 councilors, half of whom are from BS. Two each council seats went to SDP and SD, and one to BDZ. The biggest opposition the DPS party has 12 councilors.
