The Democratic Party of Socialists completely destroyed Šavnik economically and economically, displaced Drobnjak and Uskok, so the number of inhabitants in this municipality decreased several times, so that now there are not even one thousand of them. Using blackmail, threats, buying... DPS succeeded in consolidating its power in Šavnik and continuing according to its scenario to the funeral of this municipality, announced the president of OO SDP Šavnik Miodrag Ćetković on the occasion of Šavnik Municipality Day.
"Together with the rest of Montenegro, Šavnik deserves to celebrate the day of liberation from fascism, freed from DPS. Walking through the seventh decade of the liberated country, today because of the defenders of the last totalitarian system in Europe, the majority of citizens in Šavnik are crying out for personal, political , economic freedom, freedom of action and thought. The fact that hardly anyone lives in Šavnik was caused by the numerous mistakes made by the DPS there, and it would be painful to mention them, because they were serious and sinister, and fatal for Šavnik," said Ćetković.
He adds that if DPS continues with "this kind of management", Šavnik is threatened with "danger of disappearing as a separate political-administrative unit in the Montenegrin system".
"However, in contrast to this situation, I hope and believe in the recovery of Šavnik. That soon the leadership of this municipality will be taken over by people who will build, not tear down, who will spread love and philanthropy, and not leave traces of hatred and division If recovery is possible, Šavnik guarantees us with its beauty, natural and mineral resources, the valorization of which would create the conditions for a life worthy of a human being by a healthy and responsible government in Šavnik," said Ćetković.
