Prime Minister Milo Đukanović told the Speaker of the Assembly Darko Pajović that he should protect the reputation of the Parliament.
"The administration of the parliament should protect the dignity of an important state institution, and the Rules of Procedure and the Code regulating the moral and political responsibility of members of the state parliament should help in this," said the prime minister during his stay in Bijelo Polje.
He said that anyone who threatens the authority of the Assembly should be adequately sanctioned, reminding that this is provided for in the Code and the Rules of Procedure.
"No one does a good service to those who threaten the dignity of that institution by tolerating them to continue doing it. The big question is how the administration of the parliament handled all of this in the previous personal convocation, and we will see how it handles this one as well. "We reduce everything to the issue of criminal responsibility, but it is not primarily what the administration of the parliament should take care of," said Đukanović.
He accused the Democratic Front of trying to stage an extra-institutional coup and seize power without elections.
"When that failed, they returned to the parliament by themselves announcing that they wanted to transfer the atmosphere of the street to the parliament," he added.
In the Parliament of Montenegro on Monday, a fight between DF and DPS MPs was again almost avoided, and this time, like a month and a half ago, vulgar and insulting words were heard from both sides. "Fukaro", "you lie like a dog", "udbašu", "shame on you", "you...you mother". These are just some of the swear words that were exchanged by the MPs of DPS Obrad-Mišo Stanišić, DF Branko Radulović, Janko Vučinić and Milan Knežević. Stanišić, Radulović and Vučinić were actors in the incident on May 14, when a fight was also almost avoided.
