Prime Minister Milo Đukanović has not yet decided who will succeed the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration Igor Lukšić, and several candidates have been mentioned for the position.

For now, they are the Ambassador at the Permanent Mission to the United Nations and former Minister of Foreign Affairs Nebojša Kaluđerović, Minister of Defense Milica Pejanović and Minister of Education Predrag Bošković.

Lukšić retired from the Government because he is campaigning for the Secretary General of the United Nations.

Milica Pejanović, according to "Vijesti" information, would not leave her current department, but would coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the same time.

Bošković is in the mix because his position could be rotated to one of the ministers who should leave those ministries to the opposition according to the Agreement on Conditions for Fair Elections.

Bošković, Pejanović and Kaluđerović did not respond to the calls and messages of "Vijesti".

The agreement stipulates that 15 days after its signing, new members of the Government will be elected. It is expected to be completed by April 9, so Djukanovic's cabinet could be reconstructed at the end of April.

The position of Minister of Internal Affairs is also vacant in the Government, after the dissolution of the SDP-DPS coalition. By the agreement, the opposition is guaranteed ministerial positions in the Ministry of Interior, the ministries of finance, labor and social welfare, and agriculture and rural development, as well as one vice-presidential position.

Minister of Finance Radoje Žugić, whose departure was announced earlier, informed the Prime Minister that he is willing to remain in the position until the elections, after which he would probably take over the position of President of the Council of the Central Bank. That was before the agreement with the opposition.

The Ministry of Labor is headed by Zorica Kovačević, Agriculture by Petar Ivanović, while the MUP is coordinated by Deputy Prime Minister Duško Marković.
