The agreement on conditions for fair elections received its final version and it is possible that it will be signed in the next 10 days, and only technical details remain to be agreed.
That the agreement between the DPS and the opposition is closer than ever is also confirmed by the fact that the RTCG Council has given a new deadline for the selection of editors in the Public Service, as well as the statement by SNP leader Srđan Milić that there is room for dialogue and an agreement with his party.
In the next seven to ten days, RTCG director Rade Vojvodić will submit an emergency action plan to improve the information program. One of the key demands of the opposition was the dismissal of TVCG director Radojka Rutović and her editorial team at the Public Service. The decision to elect a new editorial board is not directly related to the dismissal of Rutović, but her dismissal, according to the proposal of the agreement, was entrusted to Vojvodić. The opposition that led the negotiations say that the new competition for editors is a sign of readiness to bring people who will work professionally to editorial positions. Another confirmation is that nothing has changed in the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MUP), which according to the Agreement will be under the control of the opposition, since it was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Duško Marković, who is speculated to retain control of the MUP for a short time.
According to "Vijesti" information, an agreement was reached on the requests sent to DPS by SDP, URA and Demos, and technical details remain to be agreed upon. The agreement will most likely be signed in the next 10 days, because Prime Minister Milo
Đukanović will be on an official visit to Brussels from today to Thursday, while the prime minister's hour in parliament is scheduled for Friday.
The SNP hinted that the party could support the agreement. Milić said that his party is still not familiar with the final version of the agreement, but that he is "convinced that in the interregnum between the initialing of the Agreement and the adoption of a special legal act, there is room for dialogue and agreement, even with the SNP". Milić said that the key question is who will vote in the parliament for the lex specialis, which is necessary in order for the agreement between the DPS and the opposition to be implemented.
