The Tivat Municipal Election Commission has informed political parties and groups of voters who intend to participate in the upcoming local elections in Tivat, scheduled for April 17, that 86 voters are the minimum number that should support the list for the election of councilors with their signatures.
"The number was determined in accordance with Article 43 of the Law on the Election of Councilors and Members of Parliament, and according to the number of voters in the municipality of Tivat for the election of the President of Montenegro, which was held on April 7, 2013, and which amounted to a total of 10.747 registered voters," it is stated in announcement of the MEC.
Electoral lists with an adequate number of signatures of support can be submitted to the MEC from March 6 to March 22 at the latest.
The collective election list will be published by the MEC no later than 15 days before the day of the election.
The MEC published on its website the Instruction on the content and form of the forms in the process of nominating candidates for the election of councilors and deputies, which was adopted by the State Election Commission on February 8, and permanent on-calls were organized in the MEC, every working day from 7.30:15 a.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.
By the way, as the MUP announced last Sunday, 11.113 citizens have the right to vote in Tivat. Compared to the presidential elections held on April 7, 2013, the voter list was increased by 366 citizens.
