Real political dialogue can only lead to a solution to the institutional crisis in Montenegro, said the president of the Civic Alliance (GA), Boris Raonic, explaining that it is important that accurate and high-quality information about the course of the process be disseminated to the public.
He said that it is a great progress that for the first time in history there is a real political dialogue in Montenegro, and it is even better that it comes at a sensitive political moment, so the need for it is even greater.
"It is clear that only he can lead to the solution of the institutional crisis in which Montenegro found itself," Raonic told the MINA agency.
Raonic assessed that the big problem is that the public knows little about the most important political issue.
"And the little that is known is through brief statements after the meeting and spins that are tried to be placed, and on several occasions they are denied the next day," he said.
Raonic said that it is important to provide the public with quality and accurate information about the course of the process.
"But also to prevent hunting in the murky Montenegrin traders with influence that have spread these days", he added.
Raonic assessed that the vote led to great tensions and polarization.
"The fact that eight parties were needed for a majority, which is many times more than what was in the elections, indicates that the only solution is to organize fair elections, and they will happen if everyone agrees on the conditions," he said.
According to him, Montenegro is now facing the opportunity to make a great democratic breakthrough. "Therefore, responsibility is very important on two extreme sides - on the one that has untainted power, but also on the one that stands aside trying to make the failure of the process an argument for which vote is more".
That is why, according to Raonic, the attention shown by the international community is very important.
"She will certainly not allow the escalation of further tensions, even though their primary goal is to end two parallel integrative processes - the conditions that are being created now and the creation of the possibility that in the elections that will be held before joining the European Union, Montenegro will finally get the administration it needs." , Raonic concluded.
